How do I activate my card?

You need to activate your Mastercard before you can use it. You can activate the card in the Resurs app or online banking.

Activate the card in the Resurs app

1. Log in to the Resurs app using electronic identification.
2. Select the account linked to the card under wallet.
3. Select the card.
4. Select Activate card.
5. Follow the instructions in the app.

Activate the card in online banking

1. Log in to online banking using electronic identification.
2. Select the account linked to the card.
3. Select the card in the list. There you can see whether the card is Active or Inactive.
4. Select Activate card.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

You can also view and change the card's PIN in the Resurs app or online banking.

If you don't have electronic identification

Contact Customer Service and we'll help you further. You will receive a preset PIN that you use to activate the card yourself when you make your first purchase.

• Insert the card into the card terminal.
• Enter the PIN.
• Complete the purchase.

Customer Service cannot activate the card for you. The card is activated when you use it yourself with the chip and PIN.

If you have an additional card

The person the card is issued to must activate the card and choose their PIN. The primary account holder is responsible for the additional card's other settings.

If you have a store-linked card

A store-linked card does not need to be activated.
