If you have made a purchase or withdrawal that has been canceled, the amount may still be reserved on your card. Usually, such reservations are released within a week, but in some cases, they may remain longer.
It is especially common for hotels and car rental companies to hold deposits as reserved amounts for an extended period.
We can only cancel reserved amounts after 14 days.
If you have a receipt or other documentation from the store or hotel showing that the purchase was denied or that the amount will not be charged, you can send this to us by mail. Then we may be able to cancel the reservation faster.
Please note that the documentation must clearly show:
Date of the transaction
The amount
Where the purchase or reservation was made
