It may be that the card terminal where you are trying to use the card does not always verify the PIN code against the server, but only directly against the card.
If the card has not been in contact with the server since you changed the PIN code, it is not updated with the latest PIN code.
You can then do one of the following:
- Go to another card terminal that is online and make a purchase. The card will then be updated with the new PIN code. After that, you can use the new PIN code also in card terminals that are not online.
- Use the old PIN code. The card will then be updated with the new PIN code. After that, you can use the new PIN code.
